2020 HJEO Schooling and Rated Award list

We are excited to announce that 2020 year end ribbons and awards will be available to pick up at the May GO show and the May KJM show! We will have an awards table, photo opportunity and a raffle for some awesome door prizes!
If you can’t pick up your awards at either of those shows, please contact Kalea Maxwell (ka**********@***il.com) to make other arrangements.
Schooling Show Update
HJEO has voted to follow the Governor of Oklahoma’s 3-Staged Plan for reopening OK:
Stage 3 is currently planned for June 1. This allows gatherings/events of 50+, camps, school, etc. HJEO shows will tentatively resume in the month of June. In the event that the Governor of OK has to repeal or change the date of Stage 3, HJEO will follow accordingly. All show managers and board members will be monitoring the counties’ restrictions for those counties that are home to hosting shows.
Notice to Exhibitors with plans to show in June:
Show managements are planning to put necessary safety precautions into place as they see fit, i.e. streamlining the office check-in/check-out, limiting access to staff, providing access to hand-sanitizer in higher-use areas. Please do not attend any shows in the near future if you have been recently ill, suspect that you are ill or in contact with someone who is ill, or feel that you are high risk health-compromised.
KJM has re-scheduled their Spring Show for June 20. All other dates on the show calendar will proceed as planned.

Covid-19 Show Cancellation Information
To all of our members, HJEO hopes that all of you and your loved ones are staying healthy at this difficult time. We know that everyone is looking forward to the time that we can all ride and show and enjoy our time with our horses again.
Our Board Members held a regular meeting April 5 to discuss how HJEO will proceed moving forward. Board minutes are on the website at https://www.hjeo.com/home/about-hjeo/hjeo-board-minutes/
HJEO events and activities will resume when all Oklahoma counties have been cleared for business as usual and regular social gatherings.
All barns and events will have the opportunity to reschedule their shows that were canceled due to Covid-19 and will do so by an emergency Board meeting TBD.
All is still on the books for the Fall Finale this year.
